A Moment of Silence Please...

We should all take a moment of silence to mourn the loss of a great friend...

My Skyline RS200 differential under the 240SS has met an explosive end.There's not a whole lot left in there.The clutch packs are thrashed, and the ring gear has no teeth left.The pinion is rounded off, and the carrier is cracked all the way arround.

This poor thing held up to over 200 nitrous passes at the track and probably 800 plus passes on the street with slicks on.This is definately the strongest differential Nissan makes by far.

Now I'm off to search for a suitable upgrade to fix this problem.Maybe a Moser 9"...

our trip to so-cal will be delayed until the end of April thanks to this new dilema. But when we come, you can bet the street scene will know we're there.
