Well the day has come for me to sell my Q, after 4 1/2 years of trouble free ownership I just couldnt justify having 4 vehicles, I fought for 2 weeks to come to this decision, I would have loved the car to go to Pito but didnt know he was in the market for another Q, I sold it to a friend who missed his Q he sold 2 years ago, the guys wife is sooo happy to have a Q back in the household, they currently have a 98 740IL and a 92 LS400 and she says that outta the 3 cars the Q feels the best. I purchased a vehicle I have wanted for a couple of years and the mods have already begun, I just want to say that even though we might not always agree with each other that this forum has saved me a lot of money on that car and my other vehicles by having me step my maintanence routine up a notch, and just the overall knowledge of the members of this forum has been most greatly appreciated, if it was not for NICO I would never have meet one of best friends QSHIP also from CT, and I would have never got to hang out with Rsiwicki/Rob who I also consider a great friend (and he let me drive his car ) also Greg whom I will hopefully be seeing @ Nopi has also become someone I speak with and cant waite to meet in person and by him a drink, as for Wes I watched him go from a newbie to someone ripping motors out of a Q like it is nothin you guys are all great and I just wanted to say thanks, and ohh yeah Slim ill seyaa in ATL also for NOPI, keep boostn cause im runnin 35lbs with a few more to come

Here are some parting pics, of the Q and my new baby

This is my money shot, all 4 vehicles lined up nice and clean

And the new rig, a Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins turbo diesel with all stickers removed and 2005 emblems installed

aww **** i think i just shed a tear...

Your coming to NOPI nationals in ATL?? Im gonna try my hardest to get down there, hopefully with some things done by then!

350Z wheels look GREAT on the car!

I like that pic.. Lined up biggest to smallest!!! Unfortunately the Q is not the king in that picture.. Q reigns kind of the driveway here except in the snow.....

You better stick around, just because you run on a different kind of fuel doesnt mean your better than us!!!

Depsite how much you liked the Q its probably time to move on.. I dont have the heart to not have a Q, so once i get tiredof it i'll probably just cover it up and let it sit for a while... Youve got some great will power to let the car go, especially after all the stuff youve done.. I dont think i could get rid of my Q even though i really havent done that much to it...... Ok so im probably not helping but still..

Glad to see your doing what youve wanted to do... hopefully in a few years we'll see you back in a Q, or even an M...

(now get me that ECU! yes, i had to hijack :D )

Sorry to see it go, but like everyone else said - at least it went to a friend! I don't think any of my friends would have the nads to buy one of my old Q's for fear of getting *****-slapped if they didn't maintain it to my standards

Make sure your friend comes on over to NICO so we can keep him in line!

Dang! Those are the best pictures of your car/wheels I've seen.

I know I've asked you this before, but just to double check, you have 245/45/18's on those wheels, right?

Is your car lowered? (I hope not)

Gotta get my same wheels out of the attic and order some tires!!!

Tropical storm comming today, and when I walked down the driveway, the Q has a flat...not much to say to the old lady about new shoes!!!

Like the other guy said, "You can checkout, but you can never leave".

Thanks Meaux, yuup 245s on it and its not lowered, I think the wheels look good on the car, but my next Q will get a set of G35 Coupe 18s on it, when are you installing yours?

Next week for sure, I'm gonna make a Tire Rack order on Monday, and I'm gonna spring for the Avon 550's.

I like the way those wheels (350Z) fill up the wheel wells. I've seen so many nice 94 Q's with great lookin, and different wheels, only to find out the car has been lowered.

Wonder why the wheels are labeled "front" and "rear" when they both have the same offset?

Oh well, I'll be sure and post pictures when it's done.....:-) Thanks for your pictures and help.

I know the new owner of Todd's Q. He's a very nice guy!

It will be hard for anyone to maintain the standards that Todd has set, but I'm sure the Q is in great hands!

OK! It's time to go play with our rigs!!

Interesting!

On the older 300ZX TT wheels, the air flow requirements through the wheel meant that you had to keep the same wheels on the same side, so they were labeled front/back.

On the G35 Coupe, the wheels are 30 and 33mm offset, so the front wheels should not be used on the back, etc.

I would be curious to find out why the 350Z wheels are so labelled. If you do figure it out, let us know, please!

I'll get em' all out of the attic tomorrow (so I can wash the insides and remove weights) and take measurements....I hope they are identicial, so I can rotate the tires.....
