A million miles on a K&N filter

maybe he does all of his driving in a clean room - but good grief if that truck is a 92 (I think that is when they switched the fascia) he's driving that thing 74,000 miles a year. I drive a saturn wagon about 5,000/month and I don't think I could take any more. More power to him I suppose - I could care less about the cost of air filters If I can get the Q to last 1,000,000 miles....

Boy, you ain't just a-woofin'!

How many times has Carl had to slow down his busy schedule to clean his K&N? "I've cleaned the filter maybe 10 to 12 times in the million miles. When I open the cover and its dirty, I clean it."

Yeah, right. That's a better testament to how poorly the K&N filters. My G50 would be choked if I let it go 30K. But then a Chevy engine is pretty loose on tolerances.

We son't be seeing any pictures inside the valve covers on this one, I have a feeling..

remember,,,for every one GM that does 500,000 miles without a rebuild,,,,,,,,there is, probably, 450,000+ that have died miles ago!!! probably more!!

ps---just like the guy who smoked and lived for 100 years. for every one of those guy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,there are1,000,000 who have died. not great odds!!!

I've put that many miles on all my K&N. I go about 15K between cleanings.

All my race cars have them. Even the dirt track cars had them. Of course, they were cleaned every 20 to 100 miles .

Go K&N, or go home!

I bet none of you have had sex on top of the covers with the light on, either!
