A messed up cylinder???

Ok...my friend told me that i might have a messed up cylinder....is this expensive to fix or ...i need some help on this....

Block cylinder? Clutch cylinder? Brake cylinder? I assume he meant block cylinder. Pretty hard to come to that conclusion without taking the whole engine apart.

beast, you should have linked your original thread here.

As Rob said the only way your gonna tell if the cyl is bad is if you remove the cyl head and inspect it.

Well...i had my suspicion confirmed but a girl mechanic lol....I blew a head gasket...does anybody have any suggestions tips or advice that would help me out when i replace my head gasket?? any info would be appreciated...thanx in adv..

LMAO ....No but she really is, she does her own engine swaps and stuff, but the thing is that she's into muscle cars, well mustangs to be exact, i dont know if thats considered a muscle car lol....but yea, she had an in-line 6 and she said she can help.

The KA24DE is about as muscle car is an inline 4 is gonna get. I'd say she can do it.

Does anybody know a place where i can take my car to have this fixed, i have to much valuble stuff under my hood and i want it done right..some guy quoted me $60 for the parts and $200 for the labor.....any body have any recomandations??? I live here in Southern CA.....

That sounds about right. In fact, it sounds pretty good. 60 dollars for parts is about right, and 200 for labor sounds pretty close too.
