Jerry ((Very Very Nice))I am a newbie, only had mine for about 2 months now! Thanks to my son & girlfriend (Sara), who gave me the car!I also want to thank them for a great father’s day gift, (Stage 3 up-grade).But anyway a simple question to you now that I’m hooked on Z’s!“Would you mind if I sent you my car, so you could build me one almost like yours!”Yes I want what you done to your engine & body, but the only thing I would change is the back wing!I have yet to find one I really like, so maybe you could advise me on where to look? The one I got is too small; the one you got is too big! (I don’t want a ricer one either, nor do I want a chrome one) So now you know what I’m looking for!Anyway as for everything else I take it! I got it mine only has 58,000 original miles on it Stage 3 (Love your exhaust). So here you go, fair trade, I’ll take yours you take mine, ok I’ll pay for shipping!DEAL? Hahahah I wish! Someday, problem I know I can’t do the work, nor is there anyone in NJ that could that I know of!A friend that I just met, who helped me go to stage 3, is on his way but don’t have the tools or a place to do it! Question excluding labor of course, using today’s prices --- What do you think it would cost me for parts and an engine (With all you put in!) to build my Z to what yours has in it today?

About the same price my son paid for a new Lamborghini Gallardo?

Hello,

First of all i'd like to say that your post is incredible, and inspirational. Thanks for sharing.

I once owned a stock 1991 300ZX TT. It was awsome. I kept it stock and clean for the 3 yrs I had it, and I still got a lot of attention. I got married and the birth of our 2nd child convinced me that it was time to get an SUV. So I sold my Z. I am now ready to get another TT Z. What in your opinion is the best year ? I'd like to keep it as stock as possibel but I definately like what you did with yours. What are the best mods to increase the cars's quickness since Z's are rather heavy ? Why get rid of the HICAS system ? what other modz would you suggest, keeping in mind that I would like to retain the "stock" look as much as possible ?

Thanks in advance for your advice !

lots of threads here on Nico about modding your car.. I'd say if you want to keep it simple.. go with JWT intake, exhaust (at least cat-back, possibly full), ECU tune, and lightweight pulleys.. These popular upgrades will add a decent amount of power while still keeping the car very streetable and without breaking the bank.

Beautiful car. I hope to have one soon. Won't be nearly as amazing as yours though. I was looking at the Nissan Celebrating 50 years magazine last night and noticed your car in the top right corner.

everytime i see the pics of your engine i am always drawn to the balance tube or lack of it. What are the chances of you explaining how to do what you did with it.

If you're ever in the area look me up! I'll gladly take you for a spin.

Over 8 years already with the car.....man how time flies. Doesn't seem like its been more than 2 or 3 years.

I absolutly love your car man i plan on getting a 1990-1995 Z32 TT. I was just wondering i know this process was done over a period of several years but how much do you think you put into this car it is by far one of the best Zs i've have ever seen. What would you recomend I do upon inspecting a Z32 since you have been with yours for years now

Thank you. As for how much I've got into the car....its a lot

When shopping for a Z32 check it over just like any other used sports car but also see if you can get maintenance history. The 60k and 120k services are vital so try to make sure they were done and done on time.

Thanks! I'm glad I can provide inspiration. I definitely recommend white as IMO its one of the best colors on the Z32. Best of luck!

Hey there! I'm new to the Nico Club, and so I figured this would be a great spot for my first post. Your car is pretty awesome man! And that's a really touching story with your father.. After reading all that you've been through with your car, I've once again become motivated to keep on working on my Z!!! One of my coolant bypass tubes/hoses started leaking, so yeah.. Hahaha
