Started thinking, I want to find a good and afforable SS manifold for the CA.

What do you think about a stock shaped manifold with short pipes but bigger diameter and fully stainless?Talked to a US exhaust guy about this and he could make them if they were easy/fast to make. No long equal length pipes or chrome but better SS quality and better welds.

What do you think about this? Ever tried a manifold like this? If I´m really honest I don´t think we need equal lenght and long pipes.

Your thoughts are worth a lot!

there are manifolds out like that log style manifolds. you can get them for around 250-275 welded up, or manifold kits for 125$ and you have to have them welded up yourself.

pretty sure that will just make the Steel even more britle and more likely to crack

the two nissan manifolds i have here are both cracked on the piping not on welds, the honda one i have was the one that broke on almost every weld, and the collector self destructed completely.

Log style? Tell me more. The Manifold we talked about is still tubular but short pipes and goes to the collector direct.

I don´t like the SSAC one, it´s more than the welds, the steel is bad as well.

the log style doesn't really have much of a collector.. or at least not a very effective one. Overall a log style certainly does a damn good job for as cheap as it is.
