well, i havent posted in a while cause i have been so busy sanding the car down after the fire. Its taking a lot longer than i had expected. Its my first experience with body work, and i never want to do it again haha. I still have the hood and the engine bay to sand down, but hopefully ill have a nice new shiney white candy shell on her by next week. anyway, i figured i would post a picture of the new tailights i fit in. I got really lucky and got them on ebay for $50. I prob would have just ripped some coupe lights out of a junkyard, but would have paid the same price so i figured i would try to mold the r32 tails in. i had to widen the trunk a bit, and the panel under the trunk, and made pieces that wrap around the sides that im going to try to bondo flush to the lights. kinda hard to explain exactally what im doing, but once i get it all welded up ill take some decent pictures. The pieces are held up with electrcal tape right now, and it looks kinda crapy in the picture, but it really looks hot in person. i cant wait. anyway, heres a pic.
and for those who didnt see the car b4, heres the link to the pictures from the fire.
