You little boys are one of the biggest reasons i fell out of love with the hatch.

yes interior neons are pretty ricey, but saying anything that doesnt look factory is rice is just an ignorant statement
Wow, i said it is hard to define rice. I meant things without purpose, just like I said in the parenthesis of a previous post. Also, everything you stated as examples help you go. (racing seats are light, racing wheels are light, quick release hubs allow for choice in steering wheel for better personal car handling, and roll cages stiffen the entire car. So you pretty much FAIL at insulting me. But nice try.

um racing seats are built to hold you in. not for weight reasons, your first fail. racing wheels are normally smaller for better handling and control, fail two (racing rims are not in your interior, so obviously i wasnt referring to that) cages offer protection in a wreck, as well as qualify you for track classes where there required(besides stiffening the chassis) . fail three. sorry bro, but you suck at life. to say mods that arent stock looking, are ricer.... thats ignorant, and you cant get past that no matter what you type

Is the blue factory? I like that shade of blue. I don't think the car looks bad. At least you don't have some gay ebay body kit, and weird stickers. Do you have any engine plans later down the road?

Why are you posting things that are not true. Racing seats are SUPER light and attribute to harder cornering ability due to them holding you in under hard lateral g's, in EVERYONE's opinion that helps you GO. Racing wheels are 99.9% of the time lighter than stock wheels, this give you slightly quicker acc. due to less unsprung weight. I have proof of this by comparing my acc. times from when I had z32 rims to my rpf1's with relatively the same conditions.

Again, I said that it is hard to define 'rice'. Then you proceed to misunderstand what I post and call me a f'ing retard.Yet you have proven yourself to be the retard. I hope you have fun in your ignorant life, it must truly be blissful to be so clueless.

lol sheesh, leave the kid alone, he likes his interior lights and his wheels, he'll have to learn it the hard way.

Welcome to the 240 scene!

Hopefully later on you'll understand that underglow neon looks horrible after awhile and that they're a waste of money, and you'll regret it. It's like a dragon tattoo on your arm, you think it's cool when you first get em, but after enough criticism and seeing it everyday, you'll wish you can remove it asap.

But hey, you do to your car whatever it is you want to, no need to make your car look exactly like everyone elses you know? Enjoy it before you realize that car has cancer lol j.k.

Easy on the kid. I look back on some of the things I did to my car or wanted for my car at 16 and I wondered what I was thinking. Back then I thought they were the greatest things in the world, but taste changes as we get older. Hey op, if you like them, then enjoy them. Most of us if not all of us on here have gone through this and you will too. I guarantee a few years from now you'll be like, "WTF was I thinking?!!" though.

The kid worked for the wheels and other improvements so more power to him! The wheels are nicer than my factory teardrops but I've got a family and motgage and have to be sensible and keep these a while. When I was 21 I thought a Chevette Scooter with American Racing wheels was pretty nice. I even added the optional glovebox door to spiffy up the interior. At 49 that does seem a little lame and I'm sure the kids taste will improve over time. Lighting is easy to remove at least if you get tired of it. The car is clean looking and I like it. Don't worry about the drop either. For me they sometimes seem totally impractical. If I lived in a major city with nice roads maybe I'd drop mine. Where I'm at The cars safer without the drop.

Listen to all you douchebags ripping into this kid like you were never 16. The car's not rice, it f*** looks fine.

Car looks good man, do what you want with it. The only suggestions I have are to lower it a little bit and see if you can pick up a stock front lip for the pignose.

OP, It is your car. Do what YOU want, if YOU end up liking it great. If YOU end up disliking it that's great to because yYOU will learn more about what YOU like and what YOU dislike.

Do what YOU want and enjoy life, be safe.

Thank you all for your comments. Yes i do realize my wheels dont look that great in pictures but in person they look fine by me and everyone that does see them. I dont have wheels that sit flush with the car but im not gonna have this car forever and im sure i will go through many kinds of wheels. im in high school and we all know that jealous MF's will f*** up ur car for stupid a** reasons so i got rims i wouldnt really have to worry about getting messed up for what i see as a decent price and look relatively good, if i keep them in good shape then i will truly know if im ready for baller rims that cost way more. I dont need to be insane baller at 16 because look at the facts, the car is 20 years old and most likely with all the idiots on the road someone will total it for me. Im learning and i dont really care whether or not you like the look of my car.

I can honestly say that my interior is more clean than the majority of you and that i take care of my car better than most. I have replaced the dash by myself bought s14 seats for it, wried up all of my stereo equiptment very clean and also the lights. Thats cool if u have a Rb or SR or KAT but i honestly dont need to be fast right now i just want it too look good from the inside out and as i get experience i will build the car as i see fit. I dont claim to be a great drifter, auto x, or drag racer and i sure as he** do not claim that my 240 is anywhere near fast but its a car i am proud to own. Im a ricer, proud as can be but at least i have my own taste and opinions unlike the 75% percent of you that have jumped on the bandwagon and think that there is only one way a 240 should look.

I like my car so you can kiss my a**

oh and thank you to those who support doing your own thing such as mrgreeneyes and others, you all are what these bandwagoners need to learn from.

Well i can respect what you have just posted, BUT you cant expect to post pics and have everyone be like OMFG THOSE WHEELS ARE SO TIGHT YO1146243897!!4???3475897432!!^^&*%&$!!!. This is a forum with TONS AND TONS of opinions.

But can i ask where you got those wheels and how much they cost? Only because i could have set you up with some really nice wheels for a nice price.

No where not all on the BANDWAGON I, for one, like my car to look nice while still performing great and i guarantee you your car would perform better on stock wheels compared to those...things.

IDK man, do what you will, hopefully you learn something from this forum and dont style or downgrade your car so poorly.

I wondering the same, i have seen those rimes on 92 lumina's, to cresseda's (or w/e), stratus's, probes, minivans...none of which are trying to be balla or nothing but it seems everyone and their grandma around me has something similar. I like the chrome lip and black is my favorite color, just wondering myself where people are getting these rims, since everybody has them, like a truckload of them spilling into the city. I think they look sweet for now, and they're not the same friggen 5 spoked like I see every 240 on here having. good to go bro

Thank you all again for the comments. I decided after a while ill get spacers but i am not dropping the car anything lower than 2 inches if that...im likeing how it feels to ride higher than normal as of right now and when i do lower it will be a while from now. In person i love howit looks and so does everyone that sees it but in pictures it doesnt look so great lol. I would never get my money out of these wheels so i dont think i will sell them anytime soon. im going to enjoy them for a few years until i really feel that my car needs an upgrade. i am really pretty proud of her as she sits. The body is pretty straight with the exception of a few dents and where the drunk driver hit my car on the ds rear 1/4 panel, i have nice looking wheels (especially to the untrained eye (which is 95% of the people around here) she is running exceptionally well as of now and i believe at 16 this is a great accomplishment for a middle class kid who worked for what he has and appreciates it. Oh and for another update i painted my hood a gloss black using rustoleum paint. turned out better than that crappy flat black...will post pics at a later date. thank you all for your comments!
