Howdy guys!Well, its time for a little update on the vert. Its going slow and steady! Got the piping on, the intercooler mounted up, the injectors in, the ecu is getting the chip put in now, BKR7E plugs are in, all the interior is stripped...etc.etc.etc...

No more pillars, i have the other fender, its just off cuz i didn't want to dent it.

Wide rear fenders are on the way...don't worry different rims also.

And now the little bit different thing...I just happen to have a hatch i parted out lying around...So we are going to use it for something....

Any ideas?

...If you guessed hardtop 240 you are correct. Along with alot of very unique touches.

There will be no 'hatch' part, It is being cut off just after the top of the hatch line, then I am making a mr2 style rear end. You'll see

What can I say, I'm crazy and happen to have evertyhing i need to do it.

Dude, I am feeling that idea. I always loved the Mariah hatches for the FBs. You know what. I have a hatch to part out as well. Maybe I will save the roof. Race you to it?

In a sense, YES. Except not just the top-top part will be removable. The whole top will come on and off, and attach with latches. Will probably take 2 people to take on and off by hand, but I have a rig in my shop that will pull it on and off with the press of a button

YES the hardtop will cover the old top. I had fun smashing out the windows a few days ago, and the top will be cutoff on Saturday.

JDMerific? WTF does this have to do with being JDM?

I have a ****ing vert' I'm much better then them

Too bad you smashed out the rear windows. I had a really cool picture in my head of what it could look like but now I'm totally stumped as to what you are up to lol. If It looks good I also have a hatch I'm using for parts in my yard, that is if you wouldnt mind me using your idea

well if he is gonna do what i think he is gonna do, its gonna be sweet. i did that same thing to my eclipse gsx. you cut the roof off and brace it, make the right spots reinforced where they need to be, and put latches on the part you cut off. it was sweet on my eclipse. i was the only one around with it done. i felt cool, for a min, untill it started leaking. lol. its like t tops. ill see if i can find pics of mine.
