My bro came over the other day to check out the vert. The top was down and he grabbed it and went to shut it. I said: "don't do it like that" He looked at me funny and said: "well, how does it close?" I said: "With an electric motor!" He was all surprised. And I said: "Dude, welcome to the 90's"LOL

HahaaIf I didn't know they were motorized I'd do the same thing. LOL a car that old? It's hard to believe something like a 240sx was 'updated' enough to have a power top.

"Updated"? What the hell? You name one other car, especially American, to have an independent rear suspension, or a limited slip rear differential (hatches)! The 240 was well ahead of its time, especially here in the States. I would only assume it had an atomatic top.

Fixxed. I was suprised to find out my vert had a power top too. but more cised than surprised.

Edit: just so you know man: The whole "tis a lady" thing is about one and a half creepy shuffle steps from the "M'lady" schtick the creepy kid in grandmas boy pulled

wtf? do you have any reading comprehension whatsoever?

How many people looking @ a 240sx (and we are talking average consumer) would even know it has independent rear suspension or vlsd (only on certain models btw, I believe most abs equipped verisons - most hatches are just open diff like the rest of em)? or even rwd really for that matter considering it's an economical entry level secretary's car.

Ppl see 240 and just see "90's car", much less even know it's a 240 w/o looking @ emblems, etc. Remember, we're talking about normal people, not lil high school jdm fan boys who run up to you going zOMG you have sr20?

So yes, according to the poster above you, looking @ a 240, you wouldn't think it was so "updated", power top, rear suspension, vlsd, and all.
