Got this P-finder grille from a friends shop. It had a few good cracks in it when I got so I did some repairs. I filled in the cracks with super-glue, built it up layer by layer then sanded it flat. Cracks repaired. Tonight I shot the whole grille with primer. Now you would seriously never know the grille was cracked in several places. What do you think?

Also grabbed some other P-Finder upgrades this week. I plan to match the markers to the grille.

Outstanding Rev.I always drilled a hole at the end of the crack to stop it.I have two pairs of those A pillar trim but hadn't planned to use them.I have the speakers as well.I purchased some interior dye (taupe) but haven't had the time to try it.

Thanks man!Test fitting the A-pillars leaves a gap in the headliner. Now I might be able to glue the old ones with the new ones then paint to hide the blend. Not sure how I want to go about it yet.

Looks good on the grill. I would fiberglass your a-pillars vice glue. As soon as you pop them in with the clips, most glue will just crack. Unless you have one of those nifty little Harbor Freight plastic welders anyway. Going to the junkyard today myself to see what I find for my little HB.

Find anything good?

My dog bumped into the grille causing a small hairline crack that I am in the middle of repairing right now.

Here's something I learned by research:

1996-1997 D21 4cyl 5spd center consoles will fit the reg cab but you will need the front bracket. The center console is the same on the 1998-2000 D22 Frontier with the same set up. The reg cab D21 already have the screw holes for the front and rear brackets pushed into the floor. I don't think the rear brackets will fit though because of the air-bag computer that resides in the 1996 and later D21s. I am on the hunt for that console. I did find one at a shop south of here but they want $50 for it. They only want $20 for one out of a D21. Little do they know they are the same so fooling them could prove fruitful. The trick is to find a D21 with one in good shape.

JY was closed. Gayness. Why would they only be open M-F?

Good news on the console thing man. Whenever I find some pathy seats to ditch the D21 bench, this will come in handy.

I have a king cab console in my 98 D22 reg cab. When I did the swap many years ago, i think I removed that computer cover and that allowed room for that rear bracket, but now I'm second guessing myself.

Of the two I looked at the computers were both held down by security key bolts like the optional air bag security screws I have seen on a lot Nissans. I will have to take a closer look next time I spot on in the yard. One yard wants $50 while another wants $100. I think I can find one cheaper than both those places.

They are much better prices out there. Here are the prices for consoles at the pull-a-part in B'ham Al.CONSOLE LARGE $11.48CONSOLE SMALL $6.83They also charge $1 for admission. What's good about them is they charge the same price for a console whether it be out of a new BMW or out of an old Buick.B'ham has 3 Pathfinders and 7 D21s on their yard now. Here's a link to their pricing page for comparison.http://www.pullapart.com/Pricing/Main.aspx
