im getting ready to help a friend with a s14 sr blacktop into a s14, and after researching i think i want to do a rb25det for myself. Anyways, i've top a ton of research, have tons of wiring diagram, pinouts ect now. These plugs though, f3 f4 m6(x)and so that need to be re-wired. What and where are they exactly and what do they have to do with the blue ecu plug, anything? What theory behind it to, rewire the engine side to the body/ecu side or is it the other way around? Finally whats kouki and zenkie (or whatever the other one is) Im new to the nissan game, been in the honda game for a while and thinking of kicking my 600whp h22 (h2b) civic build to the can for this

The only plug that needs to be re-pinned is the F4 plug. Don't touch the blue plug.

This plug.

Dont know about the S14 but S13 all you need to run/drive the engine is one wire that has to be wired into engine bay. And that's only for fuel pump relay. That's all you need, than it's about IIRC like 10-12 wires in engine bay.

The only other thing you would be wiring inside car, is water temp, tachometer, CEL light, oil light, I think, anyway it's only about 4/5 wires.

You would have to look at your wiring and trace wires for those gauges to that plug.

Oh yeah I'm talking about RB not SR

Thanks guys that helps a lot. Since im just re-wiring the f4 then, im guessing thats the one on the engine side, the chassis harness that that hooks to is the m(something). So i would be wiring the f4 to match its chassis side connector right? Is it just the f4 with both rb and sr?
