wellll, after reading so many post about cleaning the maf & throttle body i thought this would be my first simple diy. did not turn out quite the way i hoped. bought crc elec. clnr. & carb clnr. & cleaned both. applied di-elec grease to maf contacts. allowed to dry for an hr. or so. now my idle is smoother but eratic. stays up around 900rpms or 700 sometimes. rechecked all conections, i.e., hoses, clamps, elec. then looked for dislodged something or other. i did disco batt. before starting this project. anyn thoughts anyone? could i have destroyed maf by holding aresol ccr cleaner to close to maf element? stuff is pretty damn cold.
p.s. what is a jwt pop charger?

Try this:
Start the car, then open the hood, and wiggle the connector on the MAF. If the idle changes, then it is the connector. Layla does that periodically. Usually a good wiggle will take care of it. One day, I will be replacing the whole MAF plug.
