Hey guys what's up.

Well I have just about everything I need to start this project and wanted your thoughts on it. I also have a couple of question's too.

The parts - SSAutochrome Turbo Manifold, S15 t28 turbo, custom elbow and down pipe, SR370cc injector's, Walbro fuel pump, SAFC, GReddy Type S BOV, 300zx fuel filter, HKS turbo timer, fmic, custom intake piping, all to run approximately 10psi of boost for now.

Now the couple of questions.

1) For the boost I am running do you think a Fuel Pressure Regulator is needed, even though I have the SAFC?

2) Other then a boost controller, do you feel anything else would be required at all?

Thanks very much for your input I really appreciate it.

Take care.

The stock fuel pressure regulator will be fine. Have you looked into a boost gauge and perhaps a wideband?

Other then accessories it sounds good to me. You'll need the usual gauges, I'd get boost, oil pressure, EGT gauges and invest in a wideband O2 meter for tuning. Once you have all those buy a scan tool like techtom.

Best of luck

not to go against WD but i think the oil pressure and egt gauge will basically be useless. by the time u see there is a lack of oil pressure your engine will be toast.

running a wideband and something like techtom eliminates any need for an egt gauge. egt guages are sluggish. plus if you have advanced timing the egt will be low, but somethink this is safe. if the timing is too retarded then egt's rise quickly but some would think they are running lean or advanced timing.

boost, wideband, techtom is perfect

The Techtom looks pretty cool. So basicly having this does away with the need for multiple gauges?

Also I still want to look in to the Wideband. Does anyone else maybe know where I could find out some more info on them and where to get them?

widebands tell you the exact air/fuel mixture. You should use the wideband to detect any lean spots and use the SAFC to add more fuel.

http://www.ka24de.com sells the LM-1 wideband. They also have links to the user manual. Here's the mfg's sitehttp://www.innovatemotorsports.com/

i know someone who started up their motor for 20 sec without any oil in it and they didnt know it until they saw no oil pressure from the gauge. that motor is still in perfect shape. clean bearings and everything lol.
