ok guys im new to the ka-t.but not to turboing.i have had a 1990 hatch for about 3 years with a ca swap in it.it made 200whp.and it was fun to drive.but it just didnt have enough power.and the parts was to hard to find for it or you had to get them fab'ed yourself.so i sold that motor set up andgoing to go ka-t now.i just got i 1990 coupe with a kade swap in it.it has 80,xxx miles on the motor.so i have alot of the stuff left over from my ca and going to use it.but i need to find a turbo manifold.i have looked and about all i can find is t3/t4 mani's.im looking for a bottom mount t2 manifold.i have turbo from a r33 gtr skyline that has had some work done to it.so if anyone can help me find a mani or at least tell me what company might sell the one im looking for that would be great.and yes i have searched alot.

and a freind of mine is running the same set up im going to be running and got 250whp at 8 psi.same turbo as mine.but hes running a cheap turbo manifold from ebay.

Ebay is littered with them. And they are affordable. And if you believe WD, they are more reliable than the top mounts. Just do what it takes to keep weight off of the mani, and you're golden.

DUDE...use some friggin GRAMMAR!!!! Capital letters at the beginning of a sentence, a space after the end of each sentence so it doesn't look like one big friggin run on.

The R33 has two turbo's, it needs two because they are so small. Absolutely worthless on a KA24. If you meant the GTS-t R33, it has the RB25 and a single T3. That turbo will be much better suited for 250, but still pretty small IMO.

The SSAC Bottom mount mani has a T2 flange if you really want to try and use the GTR turbo. Or you can get a GT28 or similar, which isn't good but better then the GTR turbo.

Reguardless, take the time and post things correctly. This is a technical forum, not a cell phone chat session. We use grammar here cause we're all grown up.

ssac is decent if you prep it. I won't let ssac ever touch my car though

I'd try a $120 Ebay bottom mount before I'd pay nearly $300 for that log posted above.

You could just so like FLA said, prep it with proper bracing and such. Most ppl I know that use them don't really have problems with cracking. It's the top mount units that give so much trouble.

I hope not, but we will see. I have used a flex section in the DP, and need to make a brace to the fender. Then I think I will be good.

Just for you i will stop being so lazy and type have way.

Sorry i meant to say r32. And i know what comes on the r33's. the 2 turbo's i got,are from a r32 gtr rb26dett. I will inclose a pic of this turbo. this turbos are not the stock little turbo's. When i got the turbos i was told they was hks gt2530's. But after looking into it,they was not. Come to find out they was turbo's of the r32 gtr that have had hks to4 compresser hosing pu ton them.they spool real fast and make good power. A freind of mine has one of them now and he put it on his ka. He put done 260 with the turbo at 8psi. Until he ran out of fuel. He told me he need bigger injectors.

This is setup now.GTR R32 turbo ( with HKS TO4 compressor housing) on X02 turbular bottom mount manifold. 4x Sr20det 370cc Walbro pump 15 degree of timing plugs gap at .29mm UR pullies, lightweight flywheel, and CF clutch 3" turbo back exhaust Greddy FMIC 8psi of boost controled by power enterprise hybrid gauge Apex-i AFC-II piggy bag to tune Z32 maf

My goal is only about 300whp and i believe this turbo will be fine.

And also dont talk to me like im a kid either, because im not.

Btw,thanks for the help guys.

Oh I know all about Skylines, I lived in Japan for 4 years and owned 2 of them. So what you're saying is the GTR was converted to a single? Or was it running a pair of twin TO4's...cause I seriously doubt it was twin T4's. I've installed a set of 2530's on a good friends car, in twin for he put down 655AWHP. Car was an animal and not much lag to speak of.

So you have 1 T4?

Im not saying you dont know about the skylines. Im not trying to start anything here. If icame off that way im sorry.

No the gtr was runnig 2 of this turbos. I seen it for myself. Well the motor anyways. A guy got the front clip and was putting it in his 240. And then decided to go single with it.The guy i got the turbos from was thinking they was 2530's. Thats what he was told they was. Then i was told that some one put t4 housings on the turbos. All i know for sure is that, this turbo is not bad on the ka for 250-300 hp i believe. And thats all i want for now.

I would like to go bigger but the budge dosent call for it since i just had my second kid. This will be my second turbo car. My first one was a 240 with a ca swap in it.Then i decided i wanted some tq.

I had 2 of this turbos and now i only have one left.i sold one to a freind.

I think its the same as a 2530. It looks just like the hks 2530 for the skyline to me. But either way it shpuld be good for 300whp. If the other guy is making 260whp @ 8psi, i think i can get 300whp out of it.but we will see.

I will try to find the right up on the turbo that match the numbers on this one and post them.

No kidding, I would love a turbo with numbers like that. I do not know of a T4 that can pull that. Sounds like WD may be wrong about the T2 flange.

OK for the record...there isn't one shread of decent information in this entire thread...

Until I see pics of the actual turbo, I'm calling this UTTERLY BS.

Now, put up or shutup. 260 at 8...how about no.

A CA is not a KA...you have talked about three different turbos, various engines and have shown me no actual pics or info on anything REAL.

I don't understand this thread anymore.

What is it you want?

yes i have shown you something real as you put it. the dyno sheet was showing you the power that that turbo in the pic put down at 8psi on the ka.which was 259.2. if you want to believe it or not that is what it put to the wheels.with the turbo in the pics.

i asked about a manifold thats it. and my question was answered. so thanks for the people that done that.
thats was funny.
