A buddy of mine has a 2001 nissan sentra with the 1.8 driving along the idling pulley came off and the belt fell of, we got a new pulley on there, my question is, how the hell do you take the belt going to the water pump and power steering pump off so i can put the other belt back on and get him on the road again??

You will have to loosen the power steering section so you can remove the belt. There is a tensioner for the power steering pump.
