A Little Help Here Please

Hey howz it going? My ego was hurt this morning. My 99 Q lost to a 03 G35 by 2-3 car lengths starting at 35mph to 100mph. The G35 had no passengers while i had 2 passengers so i dont know if weight matters in this situation or not please do tell. I was wondering if there are any torque converters available for the 99 Q? On other cars it helps quite a bit so i guess it should help a bit on mine. So these were my questions. If im wrong with any of my points what are other practical alternatives that should/would work... Any help or info would be much appreciated THANK YOU!

I know the Q is not a race car but i like staying on top.

Love your mentality but his a friend 1st and 2nd his a fellow nico member i dont do that and 3rd how much would 150 shots run me for? and doesnt that mess up your motor?

ok three car lengths is not that far why is it so dermatic? lol im not going to give up on my Q if i can squeese out 14.4 1/4 mile out of a lincoln continental i think i can squeese something out of the Q do you guys know of any other fourms that are more into tuning because Nico is the biggest but its really dead up here

Why would you need a forum if you can make a Lincoln do 14.4?

My 90 Q tops out at 14.8 when the moon and sun and planets are aligned.

As proven by the newer 2002-2006 Q/M/FX results all about displacement and a 4.1 is tough place to start.

It depends on what your porpuse if for the Q. I bought mine because i love the ride and comfort, with power. I will not race my Q w/ a g35. I would race a 745l, or an s500, but again just for kicks. I love my ride and don't treat it like a race car.

i use it as my work car... 2 passengers would increase the quarter by at least 0.2 maybe 0.4 secs.[fat ones]. thats about 2-3 car distance. But seeing coworkers rooling in MBZ E350s 750li m45s and other 300+ hp cars while the owner has a Bently GT makes you want your slug to be a bullet and well as long as the lincoln goes it had many parts avalable a god damn ecu for the 99Q is impossible to find for a nice price so i guess im doomed

gut it and put in LS1 in. Never tell anyone you work with and enjoy destroying them on straightlines.
