...and i discovered this little guy hiding. haha, so after a little searching i found out that its a nismo gt shift knob. i was planning on throwing it on my s13, but isnt it missing those little screws that go on the bottom of the knob or whatever? or whats this screw-thing on top lol.

PS and why is it so damn hard to take off the stock shift knob D-:

nice find on the nismo rubber knob. my buddy had one on his 350z and it had a great feel to it. and the allen screw on top is how you secure it to the gear stick. and yes the stock shift knob is a ***** to take off. i tore mine up with some big vice grips taking mine off. i found that if you lift up with all your force and then start twisting the shift knob it comes off after a lil while. and yeah there is a ton of factory thread lock on the knob, thats why it sucks to remove.

yeah, i was playing around with it(pretending to shift with it ) and i do like the feel it has, and the nice weight this little f*** has haha. so all that needs to be done is screwing it from the top? if thats the case then i'll be putting this on tomorrow :-D

it'll just screw right on once you get the stock one off. i have the same one in my s14. just watch out, over time, the rubber separates from the metal and slides right off. i keep meaning to re-glue mine until i get a new knob, but i'm lazy and it's not that annoying. it actually gives you something to play with while you drive, well, besides your balls
