A little confused about a catback...or Y-pipe? Does the Y-pipe start after...

EDIT: OK i think I have figured this all out...I am wondering if a local exhaust shop (that can do mandrel bends) would be able to make a combo y-pipe/cat back all in one...I am gonna do some research and let everyone know...

Appears to be good enough for my taste and it seems to have no resonator or cat in the section that leads from the cat to where the mufflers are...

Now the Ypipe i have seen from racingline appears to connect directly to the headers right? How exactly does this not delete our primary cat if it connects to the end of the headers?

Sorry to come off with such an obvious question but I am debating going with a custom exhaust and just having them make me an exhaust that would basically be a Y-pipe and cat back all in one...

the racingline Y pipe is right after the primary cats and deletes the last cat that does not have a sensor... it can be done BUT many shops dont want to do it because of the fact that they're cracking down on shops that take off cats and emissions stuff... if you know someone at the shop they might do it for you but other wise i dont think they will because its a very expensive fine... i would just go with a custom cat-back and the racingline Y-pipe.... heres a vid of my car with a custom cat-back exhaust and stock Y-pipe.

I just put in the Y pipe with my Nismo catback and it sounds even deeper now.
