Well the biggest thing I got, wasn't actually from the sales person, but was from the finance area. They had problems with my paper work and ended up getting free detailing. Other then that really wasn't able to get anything out of it.

I got a 40,000 mile Preferred Gold Security+Plus package for $1. I doubt I will ever use it though.

I received a VIP card for lifetime oil changes from my dealership. ($400 value) A nice bonus since they had the only SL in manual anywhere and really didn't need to bargain with me.

I got free mats, sills, and splash guards. The dealer was throwing them at me during the time we were negotiating the deal.

My dealer had to trade with a dealer 250 miles away to get the SL CVT closest to what I wanted, and gave the whole sob story about having to send out a driver, popular model, etc. Since I had my car three days after first asking them about it (in early September), I didn't complain too much. I joked about how some folks on the forum were getting goodies so I ought to at least get a hat. He laughed. Luckily, I don't wear hats...

I got mine for less than sticker price 3 months ago. Trew away, peeled off every other thing the dealer gave me with the Versa. (lisence plate holder, decal...I think he thought he was going to get my Xterra in trade.

Auto dimming mirror with outside temperature. But they have yet to get it and install it. But I have the “We owe” paper with it on it. This dealer has not done anything but piss us off.

Oh I guess they have washed the car twice, with dirty rags.

Hey, at least you got the oil change and key chains. Mine laughed when I even suggested a hat! But I figured the benefits of buying from a dealer three miles from my house and who had a car I wanted were worth not having them less than pleased at working with me if I'd bought from a dealer farther from home just to save $100 bucks (or get a hat!).

Littleton.

Stay away from them. We have had nothing but problems with them. They could not get the paper work done right, took like 3 times. It was late to the county, so we could not get the plates (we had the one extention too).

They just stink in our eyes. They have done all kinds of things for us to try and keep our business, but it is too late now. They still have not come through.

I got free splash guards for having to put up with my ASCD switch going wonky less than 24 hours after I bought the car. Well, and a free rental car, too.

Lakewood. Yes they are the oldest dealer, but they don't get 1st pick. It is hard to explain how each dealer gets to "pick" the cars. But if that is the way they want you to think, then the truth be it that Autonation (Elway) dealers get 1st pick, unless things have changed much in the last 7 years that I have not worked for NNA now.

I got free oil changes for life and a free loaner car during service, but that was part of the dealer's standard package. Also got an extended warranty, apparently, because the policy arrived at our place about three weeks after buying the car.

At least the Versa is warmer than my (Seattle-area) house, tonight....:-)

Really? Elway? thats crazy, they have been around for maybe only ten years right? I guess age really doesn't matter. I was considering them but then just as quickly dismissed them because I figured they were too "young".

I'm with ya. I've never understood why people liked to have things with the dealers name on it. It's free advertisement for them. Some even charge you extra because they placed their badge on the car .

All do. It can be between $10-$30 for the ' BLANK Nissan' frames. Its a nice hidden charge.

I agree with you proxim, I always take the dealer tags off of my cars the day I buy them, as well as the badge that they glue on the cars. I makes the car look cleaner.
