ok.. i have searched and found too many answers to know exactly what to do.. i have a 94 s13 motor in my 89s13 car.. runs good but ive read that the s13 motors had the 240 intake and 248 exhaust.. ive also read that the 248 intake and 240 exhuast is a good setup for midrange power that adds a bit of upper range power to the stock motor.. but there is no how to on this swap.. is there a how to on this that i have not been able to find.. now going off of other how tos on changing cams it sounds to me that its a straight swap.. so i just want to make sure.. what i need to do is take my intake cam and exhaust cam ans trade places with them after i put it a tdc.. and then move the intake cam 4 teeth ccw.. tight? also i heard a rumor that if you redrill the stock cam gear so that it can retard 3.5 teeth, that is optimal.. is this true or is this only for the 248/248 setup? do i need to do anything else?
1. remove cam cover
2. loosen and zip tie caxm gears to timing chain
3. remove cams and swap them
4. torque cam retainers
5. install cam gears
6. retard intake cam gear 4 teeth with cam
7. install valve cover
8. turn motor 360 degrees or more by hand
9. if all is good start the car....

please help me out .... like i said there is no how to on doing this swap.. i can find them on 248/248 but nothing on 248/240 just simply trading places of your cams..
