i was at wally-mart, buying some blu-rays all happy strolling out of the store, when i noticed my car was vandalized with silly string, all over the car, my 350 is black... and its day time, i was in the store a good hour, getting several things so this had time to bake with the sun, 96 degrees outside. well i went to the car wash, didnt help, u could see the lines everywhere, so i went to advance auto parts, and bought a whole bunch of stuff that didnt work. but then i came across this stuff, 8 dollars. and worked better than everything else i tried, "3M Adhesive, Wax & Mark Remover" this thing is awesome, even took of a couple of bird crap stains i had on the hood, that little residue. i wiped it on and almost instantly it worked. so my car looks pimp again.

Did you try a clay bar? That stuff will remove just about anything and make your paint look brand new (if you do it right). May want to check it out next time, plus, you don't have to worry about damaging your paint or clear coat any further.

If I have to go to Wally-Mart or any store for that reason, I will park about 2 miles away from any other car or shopping basket. I think I would have a heart attack seeing anything wrong with my car. People these days dont care about cars, they will smack it with anything and not care or less about the cost of it.

+1

I do the same thing when I park in places like that. Also, I would even pay a dollar every where I parked if they just had some kind of enclosed garage type thing to keep my car safe... I've already had two problem with parking in a public lot next to others (and one happened right before my eyes -- I got revenege... but it still sucked) and the other while I wasn't watching (people swinging their doors open like they're running from a bomb or something... sigh) Anyways, rant off.

the 3m is a great product but you must put a couple of coats of wax back on quickly to protect your now bare paint.
