I just figured that this was funny and I'd thought that I'd post it.This morning after class, while I was leaving the parking lot, I noticed a purple civic with an FMIC in my rearview. I dont want the following to sound like Im bashing Honda, because I think they are great cars, but when stuff like this happends to you you gotta laugh.... He continued to follow me outof the parking lot and on the main road for about a block or so until he go beside me...Now I personally don't street (drag) race. I'm tuning my car for autox and thingsof that nature. On top of that I had just got out of a three hour lab so I was extremely hungryand therefore had no intensions of racing.....The guy in the Civic kept blowin offon me and kept yell out his window wanting to race...I continuosly tell him no, but he keptbeing obnoxious and we got stopped at a light. I agree to go on green and he starts reving up and makin all sorts of noise. The light turns green. He goes and squeals his tires. I slowly get on it. At the point he has about a car length on me. At about second gear full, and at full boost, I put two cars on him.....I think either he miss shifted or gave up becuase it was no contest...once he relized his defeat he proceeded to do a "ricer fly by"

Silly people with cars that think by simply putting on a turbo without tuning the enginewill make there car fast...Oh yea I still have my t25 on and running at 10psi.

Yeah that happens to me a lot..With them not knowing what they're getting themselves into...I've defeated many Hondas in my day.. It's not the car that I don't respect, it's the drivers who own them.

he had to of had a tune, unless it was like and fmu, theres no way a map car that doesnt come factory boosted can read positive psi and knwo what to do, his car wouldent have been running. sounds like it had to be a d series setup tho, with prolly a homemade turbo kit, but regualdless, sounds liek this kit was a tool. but dont bash on all hondas, theres one running around my town making 650whp on 116, he pulls alot of boosted cars, while spinning 1st-4th on street tires

why does everyone always jump in with, well dont bash hondas cuz a know a guy thats making a million hp on 87 pump gas with 70 psi on a t8600 turbo in his civic. we are bashing hondas because 99.99% of them are driven by retarded kids who think that thier grocery getter with cut springs is a race car. i know a guy that has a honda that makes power, but there are a million and a half other ppl that make that guy ashamed to drive his honda around because of the image that everyone instantly has when they see him driving a honda. hondas are ok cars, and can be built into a decent car, but honda ppl are stupid and know absoultly jack about cars.

they dont know jack about cars, theres you bashing all honda owners apparently, and 99.99% is bull**** look honda honda-tech and theres thousands of cars making over 500whp, and u make it seem liek its only honda drivers out there that rice cars out, whens theres prolly and equal percentage of nissan drivers that are jackass's and toyota and everything. what gets me if ppl always make kill stories bashing hondas, no one ever gives them any credit, just assume they are only driven by ricers, i live in a relatively small town, and yea theres alot of rice but theres over 10 boosted hondas making over 400whp, have of them built solely by their owners, but according to you they no nothing

I hate to even entertain this thread, but it is true and I can relate to this story in my old days of street racing when mostly fools with their souped-up honda cars decide to call me out because my car was different than the rest. They would look at my car and immediately assume that they can clean me up because my car didn't appear technologically advanced.

Case and point, I have some good friends who are die-hard honda car lovers who think they are the best thing since BMW. I've watched the younger brother dumped over $20k on a CRX with a sleeved 91 integra B18 engine to include pistons, rods, cams, crank work, oil pump, blah, blah. I had the honors of installing that set-up into his CRX and I'm not even a honda buff, but I did it for him. He would eventually have a haltech E6S installed for over $5000 by a serious builder and tuner here in south florida, but would only get a chance to shortly enjoy it before he had to cut his losses and move on. His most notable win in racing, was him beating an ex-friend who had a bluebird SR20DET swap that I also had the honors of installing. Well, this friend's bluebird swap will last him 3 years of straight abuse before his SR20 lost it's oil pressure and eventually will be the demise of his project.

So the same friend with the CRX sold the remainder of the car, but he was so determined to beat my old sentra, he sirprised me soon after with a 1993 RX-7 that he purchased for over $10,000 from petit racing. He would go and beat-on the friend with the SR20DET powered 200sx and even beat my woman's troubled 1990 nissan sentra. Her sentra was the silver one I crashed back in 2k2 and it's problem was getting all the boost in the world, but would not pick-up power for nothing in the world. I once thought it was my JWT re-worked computer, but it was not that.

Immediately after smoking that silver sentra, he called out my red/1987 nissan sentra which also had a JWT re-worked 1988 nissan pulsar ecu and though the car had significant lag, I knew this fool was about to get taxed. We went to the same spot where he cleaned-up my girl's sentra and we did our dead-stop race. He jumped out quickly on me, but I had no problem reeling him in and stretching him out a few car lengths over just a tad past the 1320. He would later blow this engine, get tired of the RX-7 and go back to his honda roots. He surprised me again with a brand new honda S2000 and I knew I was in trouble.

This infamous race with his Honda S2000 can be sen all over the internet via google searches, street fire, and a gang of other video hosting sites. We all would go the track in April of 2k2, to watch me run the sentra for the first . To make this long story short, I would race him from a dead stop and clean him up again and that's with a re-worked T25 and very little experience at tuning standalones with no dyno time. I'm pretty sure you all have wonderful stories like this and there isn't enough cyberspace to tell them, most kids and a gang of adults that own honda cars or suvs be clowning with their fake-@ss wanna-be fast cars and trucks. They really drive them like they stole them and in some cases it is pathetic. Even my co-worker with his RSX have to bow-down and kiss my 1.6 liter 4G61T powered Hyundai Elantra's butt.

If I strip my car to the weight they have theirs, I'm pretty sure there would be less hondas cleaning-up on anyone. But I guess that's why they all use the hatch cars, huh? I don't see a whole gang of 10 sec. accords and preludes or even acura TLs and RLs running around .

All so true about the weight issue of honda owners. I have a full interior with spare tire, a single 10" sub, and a mono block amp. My car is a little heavy I guess but its nice and quiet and comfortable. I have raced my friend with a Built B18c5 ( integra Type-R motor) swapped into a 96 ls integra with the JDM front end, carbon hood, gutted interior and some actual weight reduction ( cuttin off un-needed metal).

We raced on the highway numerous time with close to the same result, he would instantly jump on me a little bit, into 3rd I would reel him in and top of third I would be about a car out... In fourth It would be a constant pull until fuel cut at 118. I've raced a new RSX type-s, with even better results, I thought it would hold up better then it did, with a full AEM CAI and full exhaust, and yes he knows how to drive. Im just saying every one thinks that hondas are the TOP END MONSTER'S but I think differently. boost > V-tic...

yea but if there was a light weight s13 shell, itd be obvious that everyone would want one, and idk not to bash on dee at all but it doesnt sound like to many opf the cars were making much over 350-400 hp, idk honda engines are engineered very well, my friend has a stock gsr with a fresh headgasket and arp studs with a peakboost kit making 380 wheel, and thats at 12psi daily driving, given with a good tune and more boost he would be over 400 with no probs ppl hate on hondas for the bad reps all the ***holes give the honda name

but either way, im done, good kill for skoolymarm

there almost is, but its a toyota (s12 = same shape, but s12s are almost as heavy as s13s).
