Thanks to Hitman for posting up my story. I'm certainly not the foremost expert on Datsun Scarabs, but I have been collecting source material and schooling myself for years. I'm happy to address any questions there may be.

Progress on my Scarab has been slow, though I have completed rebuilding and detailing the engine and transmission. Honestly, I've spent the better part of the last two years writing and doing research for the definitive book on Scarab Engineering and their cars. After a lot of sleuthing I was able to find and interview the owner, Brian Morrow, and 6-7 others who played a role in the company in "the day." The book is titled "Resurrecting The Legend- The Real Datsun SCARAB Story," and is available for purchase on E-bay. I'm hoping to begin the body work in earnest after the first of the year as I'm anxious to get my Scarab back on the road where it belongs. Thanks for inquiring.
