What's a good shop to get a SR20DET conversion in southern Georgia or Northern Florida. I heard that Unstable-Hybrids in Atlanta does great work but I just wanted to find something closer to where I live. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Where in GA are you? You are going to be hard pressed to find a shop with 240SX experience closer than unStable where you are.

Upgrade Performance in Tallahasee, FL (850) 671-1596. Talk to Shaun. He is the owner. Tell him Jay Waller sent you. He is a good guy. He runs 11s with an SR20DET in a 93 RX-7 on stock internals. They are extremely competitive from a price perspective as well.

They have a small website. Upgrade Performance

Well right now I'm in Valdosta. The swap probably won't come for another 6 months but I just want to find out how much money I'm going to have to save plus my options on where I can get everthing done right. I'd do it myself but I dont trust myself. BTW thanks for your responses.:D

Upgrade performance seems like a good place, just wondering how their work is. I've heard very very good things about unstable-hybrids, but tallahassee is much closer. Also they say they are honda/acura specialists, how good are they with nissans?

They can do whatever you need. Just give Shaun a call and he will take care of you. Like I said, they swapped an SR20DET into an RX-7 and it hauls a$$. Although they build 90% of the hondas around town he can take care of your Nissan stuff to. Just give him a call and tell him I sent you. Actually, come to think of it, they had a 240sx S14 in there last Saturday when I was there.

They are open on Saturday pretty much all day so you could come down and meet him. Just give them a call first to make sure Shaun is in. They have an in house dyno as well for tuning purposes.

haha. secret services has an in house dynojet 248c. we also have a 450whp stock bottom end sr 13 hatchback. all our swaps come with before and after dynos, as well as free tuning session before the car is turned loose! So you know just what you gained, etc.

I would hope that any shop doing a complete swap for someone, that has an in-house dyno, would provide before and after dynos as well as complete tuning included in the cost of the swap.

Matt, what do you guys charge for a complete swap? Out the door?

450 hp is very impressive. What does that vehicle run the 1/4 in?
