So last night I was tinkering with my car and installing the oil catch can. In the process I noticed oil on the turbo outlet elbow. When I pulled the intercooler piping off (3 weeks old btw) it was coated in oil on the inside. It seems that my crappy stock T25 has a bad oil seal and is leaking oil into the compressor housing which is blowing oil into the piping and the intercooler. NOW, if I had listened to the seasoned CA veterens, I would have replaced the turbo when it was off of the car. Luckily I have another turbo, but I don't have an actuator for it. Oh well. So does anyone have any ideas on how to clean out the piping and intercooler w/o taking it all apart? Grrrr....

Check on SXOC.com. I think there are a few how-to's on how to make a T25 actuator work on a T28.

As for the oil in the piping.... just take it all apart man, and clean it all out. No other way than not being lazy to do it.

yeah, wouldn't you just need a custom made actuator bracket??If you have a friend that welds, it would help, I think ;)

If I had a friend that welds, THAT is the problem... I'll prob get the HKS adjustable actuator next week. Then I can up the boost and not get a boost controller.

go to a speed shop of some sort (probably one that does muffler installs)... they'll charge you $10-$15 but just pay it and be done:)

Hmm, $15 for a ghetto non-adjustable wastegate actuator, or $55 for an HKS adjustable actuator... Hmmm. I think I'm gonna go w/the HKS unit. Course I'll have to get that fuel pump in and get some gauges before I turn the boost up...
