If nothing is wrong with our '04 V35 6MT, minus a ~10 Hp loss, at 100k, should I do anything special, other than routine maintenance? (regular oil, filters, tires, brake changes)

Thanks dudes, you Datsun fanatics!

I don't think you lose any HP...unless you have reduced compression in your cylinders. If anything, you'll have more than OEM due to less friction on the worn parts. (only if you or a previous owner kept up with changing oil/filter)

Spark plugs need to be done....I'd recommend using the Iridium tip NGKs.

transmission oil - if it hasn't been done in the last 30-40K miles I would do it.

Differential oil - I would do this if it hasn't been done in the last 50K miles.

Now, you should have some mods done at this time too...

Plenum spacer, High Flow Cats, and K&N air filter.

You'll get more than 10 HP back with that... probably closer to 15 at peak.

thanks for the other fluid recommendations....and as far as mods...im looking for a z-tube..coupe mid-pipe and i already got the K&N filter..and the spacer would be an easy install..just need to know which size is the best bang for the buck..i saw someone else post a topic about it, i been meaning to read up on it but school gets in the way.

5/16" is the best bang/buck for most people - good area under curve

i have the 1/2" which has higher gains but less gains in the low end.

Pick up some HFC while you're doing the midpipe. MP isn't gonna give you any gains, just lose some weight and change the sound. HFC will give you the best exhaust gains for the $$. Period.
