well I replaced the spark plugs today

that and a fuel filter took me about 8 hours ( I know , 1st time)

this link helped a lot , a few differences with my 93 Q45, but helped

http://www.q45.org/sparkplugs.html

the bad news a few plugs were oil fouled and wet with oil

So , 2 questions

Am I correct in thinking valce cover gaskets are next?

and #2 this V8 has 3 tensioner pulleys correct ?

thanks guys

( only dropped / lost one bolt, but I had a spare in my bolt asst. bin)

When you say "oil fouled" do you mean oil on the electrode or oilon the porcelin? Oil on the porcelin is a leaky valve cover seal. You should have done them all in one swoop!

yes thats what I'm realizing now, but yea, oil on the porcelin

I'm just debating if I now want to do the valve covers / gaskets

it seems if would not be that much harded than plugs

Don't 90-93's not have pre-formed gaskets, but use RTV?

BTW, Wes left here just a couple hours ago after doing the NGK's in my 94 Q. Along with FUCA's & Tensions Rods.

Total time ~7 hours, but that included some post maint test drive with some ECU swapping to see if the knock sensors were being seen as bad by the ECU.

Yep, Liquid gasket/RTV.

I use the High-Temp Copper stuff.
