hey there. I have a couple misc plumbing questions on my RB25. My first question involves the vacuum lines shown below. The smaller hose comes from the top of the throttle body, while the larger one comes from the intake manifold. Seeing as how there are two similarly sized hoses cut off in the same area, is this where they're supposed to go?

I'm assuming the large hose (from intake manifold) goes to the wastegate actuator (with boost controller hooked up inline). Is this correct?

What would be the purpose of the line from the throttle body that goes back to the intake?

And my other question:

What do i do with the vent line that runs back to the fuel tank?? On my stock setup it came from the carbon/EVAP canister thing. Do i just let it hang open to the air? plug it? or does it go somewhere?

Thanks in advance for all the help

Those two steel tubes are for the charcoal canister to suck fuel tank vapors into the intake manifold under vacuum. IMO keep it or sell it to me for really cheap because it will keep your car from smelling like gasoline inside and out. If you look at the top of the canister, there is a diagram of what is hooked up where. I think one says vacuum, one purge, and one vapor or something to that effect.

SEARCH for charcoal canister and there's a fairly recent thread on the plumbing where I posted up pics etc.

The two rubber hoses on the intake and wastegate actuator are for the stock boost control solenoid valve. It appears yours was cut out for some reason. Without it or some kind of boost controller, your engine will only run 5 psi. If you run a tube directly from the tube connected to the cold pipe to the wastegate actuator, the wastegate spring alone will allow you to run 10 psi.

SEARCH for boost solenoid and there is also a recent thread on that topic.

k, i figured out what to do with the fuel vent line etc.

so my only remaining question is; is it fine to connect the WGA straight to the intake manifold? it's the same signal as the cold pipe, so it seems like it would work...but i want to confirm
