Hey guys, i have recently begun working on my brothers 90 TT 5-speed and I have a few question that will probably be pretty easy to answer. I have researched quite a bit but I'm getting mixed data.1) Are the coil packs from the N/A to the TT identical? And how about the J30? AutoPne says they are different, a few blogs say the same.

2) I want to eliminate the HICAS system, can I use a J30 P/S pump and res. Is there a budget way to acomplishment this?

3) I'm looking to upgrade the turbos but I have been looking for a nice complete kit and a few good DIY sites for research.

I am a very well versed mechanic and I know 240s like the back of my hand but as you all know the 300zx is a whole different monster.

Thanks to all who reply!

1) coils should be the same.

2) You can use the J30 power steering pump and bracket, make sure you replace all of the hoses for the front as well because the TT hoses wont work with the NA pump (its hard to get them to go into place and almost impossible to do it without having kinks in the lines.

3) There are lots of kits out there, it is usually much easier and cost effective to go with a ready kit from Z1 or JWT rather than buying turbos and trying to make them work. Depending on your goal with the car there are turbos from 450WHP all the way up to about 700whp, after that you have to start doing custom setups.
