Hello everyone,
just got my 2009 tax refund!! so theres a little extra cash to throw at the 240 and I was looking into improving my ride handling and quality..
I wanna get a set of coilovers for under 700, and I also want to replace my inner and outter tie rods, or should I replace my whole rack n pinion which I could get for 225 with free shipping.. So I guess I am looking for advice on what coilovers are best buy for the buck from experience and what other suspension modifications would be appealing for good ride height and flush wheel fitment?

You can find used tiens or cusco's for that price, and tein's are now rebuildable in the US..or you can probably get some megan ones. Stay away from godspeed.

You're probably gonna want to get some RUCA's also.

For tie rods, I would suggest MOOG for good quality and price. S14 inner tie rods are thicker, and just about all aftermarket outer tie rod ends are for s14 inners. I would switch to them(s14) and just get OE/MOOG outers, cheap combination and it's stronger than stock.

But some Megan coilovers,
you can get them for around 850.

any coilover below 700 wont really be that great.
and i love my megans. 3 years and running.

i dont trust k-sport some people had issues with them and some didn't, you just gotta be lucky I suppose. Megans, or PBM.
