A few SR questions, PSI, harness etc..

Ok so! here's what I need to know,

What's the stock PSI for a SR if you do a cold compression test? like for a brand new engine?

How good is 160psi all four on a cold engine?

If I get a SR transmission with all the sensors on it can I use a SOHC KA 5spd harness on it?

This info can be easily found in FSMs posted in the sticky.

but anyways, standdard for SR engine is 156 on warmed up engine + WOT

So Id say 160 sounds pretty good

sweet... the engine is supposed to only have 10k miles on it.

What about the KA harness?

I do not know about SOHC KA transmission harness and its similiarity to S14 KA trans harness..

BUT,

when I did my swap, I didnt even touch my trans harness. I just left it in there and when I swapped in SR trans everything just plugged right up. Few of the plugs were not used from KA trans harness. Different number of sensors in two trans.

Are SR Automatic starters different from SR Manual starters?
