Well right now i have a 360+hp s13 Sr and well just bored i guess. It was built it from the ground up by me and i think its time for a new toy. I've monitored the threads and taken down some serious info thanks to all of you for the future swap. I bought a 95 s14 and have started to accumulate parts for my VH45 swap but am finding some topics that really haven't been discussed in depth. My chassis is fully loaded from factory LSD to ABS.

#1Has anyone been able to swap an ABS chassis and retain ABS? I've thought of relocating it to the battery tray area, which really wouldn't be too hard of a task for me, but i'd rather not.

#2I know a speedo recal is in order but what about retaining Cruise Control?

My whole take on this project is to make this car look and perform like it should have from the factory(I/H/E), without sacrificing any luxury or adding some ridiculous aero kit.

Thanks for the help in advance,Kyle

the questions you ask lie in the wiring, properly wired swap will retain all functions listed above...a poorly done one will not.my personal s13 the cruise works flawlessly and i have used it several times now for trips to and from school.

Clearance of ABS is really the biggest issue. Now i know most have said a/c is inop period, but where there's a will theres a way.

only way to run ac is to get rid of your front sway bar or get one custom made...again my car is wired for ac but there is no space because of the swaybar...i like my cars to turn.

If you are retaining the stock rear diff ratio and using a Z32 trans, all you will need is a Z32 NA speedo sensor. Your speedometer will then function properly.

Your stock tach will work too, but that will need to be recalibrated.

As far as the ABS goes, that is an independant system, as long as you don't screw up the plumbing, it will work.

As far as the cruise goes, the above answer applies as well. Keep the factory wiring and use the factory cruise diaphram/cable. The cruise will work, but when you hit the "accel" button it will crack the throttle more than necessary, since the stock ASCD ECU is calibrated for an engine that makes a little bit less torque, lol.
