A few Rb25 wiring questions.....ka lower/ka cluster

Ok. Almost done on the wiring but got a few questions that I havent found a clear answer for.

Setup: 1990 SOHC FastbackKa lower harness, Ka cluster with 180mph speedo recalibrated and SR20 tach recalibrated to I-6.

In terms of the gauges, with my wiring scheme am I supposed to wire the speedo, tach and temp sensor separately to the gauges?

Do I literally have to run wires from the transmission/engine bay all the way to my cluster or is there a plug somewhere near the ECU I can splice into that runs to the cluster?

Also, my ka lower harness has a 1 wire connector for the alternator with a post ring that is too small for the rb alternator... The rb lower had a 2 wire (two thick white wires) post ring connector going to the rb alt. Do I just drill out the post ring to fit over the terminal or do I need the two white wire setup?

Am I forgetting anything? I wire in the knock sensors and the oil pressure.

I was wondering the same thing too.

For the knock sensors, was that a question or a comment. If you were asking where they go, theyplug into a matching plug on the upper harness. Let me know if you want me to take a pic of it. The oil sensors, JonPowell just answered that one for me. I'll look up the thread in a sec
