a few quick electrical questions

last night i installed a new stereo in my 93 maxima. as soon as install was complete (used scoshe wiring adapters) the stereo would not work. bench tested it with no luck. now my brights on the headlights will not work, the airbag light is on, cruise on/off will not light up, and built in dash clock no longer works. any idea as to what would cause those anomolies to happen? all of this started with nothing more than the removal of the factory stereo and installation of a new one. now half my comfort electronics are dead. i checked the fuses with no luck, but not sure if some of that is controlled by additional fuse links and relays.

Im not sure about the 3rd gen Maxima's like yours.. but there is the small fuse box in the car under the steering wheel, and then also a few under the hood. check them all to see. And does yours have any kind of security system on it?

Also when you click the link for nico threads on the homepage, scroll past Maxima's and all those other cars and near the bottom there is a whole discussion board for car audio stuff like this.. maybe try your luck there if nothing here helps.
