Hey, I'm new to the 240SX scene and I'm trying to figure stuff out looking into the 91 240sx.

Question one: What do the numbers mean, S12, S13, S14... and so on? Are those the different generations? If so, what are the years the generations correlate to?

Question two: the 90 240 has single overhead cams, does the 91 have double?

Question three: What is the reason that nobody ever paints a carbon fiber hood?

Last question: What are the different models/trim types offered in the 240SX. (SE... ect)

Thanks for the help. Cody

There are plenty of people that paint their carbon fiber body pieces. It's just that you can't tell it's carbon fiber otherwise. Any visible carbon fiber is just for those that want to floss the CF or they can't afford paint.
