A Few Questions...

1.) I'm going to replace the slave cylinder on my Z32. I know it's a 1990 NA but the engine/trans are from a TT. Are the slaves for all the Z32's the same? And is the year of the engine printed somewhere on it and the year of the trans printed somewhere on it ?

2.) My speedometer doesn't work all the time. It takes 5-10 minutes of driving the car for it to start working and even then sometimes it dips out for a second and bounces around like it's losing a signal. bad ground? or bad Instrument Cluster? or VSS? I'm leaning towards VSS since it has to actually be driven some to start working.as far as i know the instrument cluster is original (early 1990 NA). is there a good way i can test the Inst. Cluster? Ohmmeter maybe? does anyone know what the specifications might be, have a diagram of the connectors, etc.?

I'd guess the salves are the same, a parts store could tell you real quick, and if they are different I'd guess you got the TT and do a visual comparo before swapping it out, and no the engine year isn't stamped on it, and on #2 I'd guess it's the speed sensor, bolts into the trans towards the rear
