how diffrent are rb 25 and 26 motors? besides the pbvious, twin turbo, awd, individual throttle bodies, compression ratio... cus i was wondering if itd be woth it to make the 25 essentally a 26 with a single turbo...

someone told me that the rb25 det into an s13 required banging out the rear fire wall about 3", even with the mc kinney mounts... is that true?

that and what size is the turbo? i was under the assumption thats it was a t28, but someone told me it was a t3...

definatley gotta search a little harder next time man

the 25 and 26 arent very close. only few internal parts change over. the heads are completley different so making your 25 a 26 isnt gonna be an easy task.

you dont need to bang out the firewall

the turbo is a t28/t3 hybrid. its a POS because it has a ceramic exhaust wheel that tends to shatter/fall off at boost above 14psi.

i was told the turbo was fixed so it wont disintagrate. is ther a diagram to install the mc kinney mounts? just because theres four holes for the mounts on the block, and not on the mounts.thanks for the help kamin.gary
