hey i just got a 1992 GTS-T type M and i need to know what way i should head with engine swap RB25 or RB26 what is easer to swap?
If you are looking for ease of install, the 25 would be your best bet, but the 20 is still a good motor, no matter what the others say. I love my 20 and have embarrassed my fair share of larger displacement engines with it.
also is there a oil temp sensor on the RB20?
Not sure on that one.
what is the little round thing on the front of the dash (passenger side) near the defrost vent?
If it's what I think it is, it's a sensor for your auto-on headlights, should you have that feature. Put your selector to Auto and the headlights turn on at a certain state of darkness. Another neat feature with those, is after you turn your car off, they will stay on if you are still in the car with the doors shut. Once you open a door, they turn off.
can i use boost jets on the RB20 without upgrading the ecu?
What the heck are boost jets?
how do i find a repair manuel?
how do i adjust camber and toe on the rear?
and finaly for now how much boost can the RB20 hold safely or how long can it hold 14 psi?
The answer is subject to debate on this question. I have heard people run the turbos at 14psi and never have any problems, but I have also heard of people running that boost and they ceamic wheels shatter. I have also heard that anything after about 13psi is useless on the stock turbo. I run mine at about .85-.90 bar, or about 12.5-13 psi, I believe, and have no problems.
and did the GTS-T come with limited slip diff??
I believe all GTS-t Type M's had the VLSD, along with HICAS and ABS. It's a safe bet that if you have ABS and HICAS, you would have a VLSD.
