A few questions about zx's...

Theres a '82 280zx im looking into grabbing nearby and had a few q's. What is the 2+2? Does anyone have a gas tank thats still good? Does anyone have a set of rims and/or tires that i could buy? Thanks, im sure more questions will come if i get it. Its not in too bad of condition and im getting the bug for em. Can't wait, thanks

I'll have to go check for a tank but I think the one I've got leaks...what kindof tires/rims u lookin for? stocks? or somethin blingy?

I've got a set of A/R 5 slotted mags rears are 13x7 with almost new Hoosier street/drag radials, fronts are 13x4 with Dayton tires BRAND new sell the whole set for $150+shipping...just need some polish but you'll also need a thin walled mag style lugnut set

my buddy has a set of the IronCross factory alloys that are 14x6 I think might be 14x5.5 but no tires $75+shipping they would need some serious cleaning

those are very similar to my set of 5 slots howver mine have a deeper lip and a bigger offset, I'll have to head out to my buddy's to get a shot of the iron crosses but I can take a pic of my set as soon as the camera charges up.

ya oddly enough my buddy and I both don't like em, we just find ALOT of ironcrosses in yards for cheap... he's actually got 2 sets of em but I think he wants to hold on to one...

The swastikas do look like one of the best stock rims ever, atleast on a 280zx, lol. Well hopefully, im going try and talk to the guy tomorow. Hope it goes well!!

the Swastikas are among the best looking rims out there wich is possibly why they are so hard to find...

on a side note.I'm looking at picking up another car (83 2+2 turb) that has the swastikas... if i pickup the car I'll probably sell the rims... how much would someone be willin to pay for them (I havn't priced them)

the Swastikas are among the best looking rims out there wich is possibly why they are so hard to find...

Honestly I didnt like them at first.....but they've grown on me a lot and I think they look hot on the 280's

Hey, I have been lurking in this forum for a while....I have a 84' 300ZX and I bet you can find a set of non-Turbo 15" rims off a 84-85 4 lug stock rims for cheap. They are 15x6.5 and I have seen them very cheap. i still have my stock rims on my car, they are still clean with the powder coating in tact.

i like my 83' turbo's rims, the snowflakes. oppisite of swastika's cuz they kinda look the star of david!

I think the Z31 wheels have too much offset and hit the struts up front of the S130, and I believe the snowflakes came on the 81 turbo's I seem to recall them being 15x5.5

I'm trying to find a set if anyone knows of any that will separate the wheels from the car (Marshall's has 2 cars on their "carlot" both with snowflakes but won't separate)

alright, after about two weeks of not getting an answer and being short on time, i made progress today. I can get it for cheap, but im not so sure on the condition. The car has been drained, so i dont know if they did it the right way or just poked holes. It has no rims, like i said before, so what lug nuts would work?? I want to get it on rims and tires and look at the underneath. I also saw that someone ganked the distributor, so if neone has one of those, shoot me a price. whats your thoughts, thanks

the lug nuts are 12-1.25mm, the style of lug nut depends on the wheels, if you use stamped steel wheels you'll want tapered seats, if you use factory alloy's you'll want OE style or aftermarkert short shank "mag" lugs
