I will be ordering my coupe this saturday and would like to get some answers.

While I think the blue coupe is the better choice, I have seen very few pictures of the blue coupes. Any owners of azure blue here? Any pictures, hopefully with a 20% or under tint? I have also seen metallics listed on some online sites. Has anyone seen any of these metallics yet? Are they available?

My dealer swears to me that the 3.5 coupe does not come standard with a sunroof. Everything I have seen claims it does. Is my dealer right?

Thanks for the help, hopefully I can get this all sorted out!

I will be an azure blue owner very shortly... waiting for my order to arrive. I have a lot of pics that I have grabbed off of here and from various different websites. Depending on the lighting, they appear as many different shades of blue. I will try to upload them to an album today and post the link.

I don't know anything about the tinting or metallics though...

But I do know that the 3.5 SE comes standard with the moonroof.

The Azure Blue is a nice color! I think it would look nice with a 20% tint. IIRC a lot of tinting is done with a semi-metallic tint, this is what helps with its reflective and darkness.

Your dealer should definately know about the cars they sell much better because the 3.5 DOES come standard with the sunroof. The 2.5 is optional with a package.

I think you should get a new dealer if yours doesn't know basic things like the sunroof coming standard on the 3.5.

I ordered the azure blue (in Canada it's called adriatic blue) without seeing it. I saw it last night for the first time on someone else's car that just came in and it is a nice color. In overcast light it looks like a dark blue (I was expecting[hoping] for brighter).

I haven't seen it in full sun yet, but I went back later when the sun was out and despite that it was in shadow, there were bits that were in the sun and they seemed to be quite bright, so I think it changes depending on the light. It also seemed to have an iridescent quality to it, going from red-blue to yellow-blue and dark to light depending on the angle and intensity of light. I've seen many, many pictures of the blue, but none have really illustrated the color true to what I saw. But needless to say, I'm sticking to blue with my order

Hiya! I picked up my new coupe on the 18th - I traded up from a 1998 Dodge Avenger SE... so needless to say I am DELIGHTED. I had waited for 7 weeks for the dealer to get a fully loaded 3.5 in... they wouldn't order it for me. When he called to say they got a BLUE one, I ran right over.

Here are pictures in some different lights.... Showroom, Afternoon, Morning, Evening, etc. Some are before the spoiler install, but it should give you some ideas as to how the color varies.

Happy shopping!

. When I told a few people at work they happened to bring this very same POSSIBILITY to my attention, I just try to keep a positive attitude, The way I see it, is with ANY car there is a risk you will be taking. This can rang from the gas mileage, the question is can you really afford it, or it being a first year car.

Hey its a SEXY car, I'm going to take that chance!!!!

That thought did cross my mind. But the place I purchased my coupe from has excellent customer service (to my experience so far) and I trust that Nissan builds, overall, quality cars. (Mind you there are somethings that could have been better on the coupe...but overall, great quality.)

But so far, my Coupe has had no problems...and exceeds all of my expectations.

Yea go find yourself a different dealership haha

last week i called a dealership 2 hours away from me and the operator sent me to speak with a sales girl. she said they had a 3.5 with convience package with intelligent key and she said the 2.5 doesnt have intelligent key, i was like wtf. So i thought she meant they had a base 3.5.

when i got there it was a 3.5 with the premium package, pissed me off, made me drive 2 hours for nothing!!

GIRLS SHOULD NOT BE SELLING CARS!!

The blue is a great color. While black is my favorite, blue is going to be my color of choice. Yea, I have already pretty much ditched the dealer. They were horrible this morning. I am now looking for another that can offer me close to the same price.

Thanks for all the help and pictures. The coupe is going to be an amazing car.

Most of the car is identical to the sedan which has been out for a year. The engines and drivetrain have been used in other models as well. I think this reduces some of those risks quite a bit. The look is different but not all of the great stuff that makes it tick.

I have an azure blue coupe that is now a little bit over a month old. When I got my car, the dealerships in my area were adding $3000 to the base price because of its "demand" or whatever. In fact, the sales rep (female) I was initially working with at the first dealership I went to was trying to charge us $26,000 for a Black base model and all the other dealerships in the area didn't have any at all. So I found a blue one with charcoal interior (which is what a REALLY wanted) at a dealership an hour and half away. We drove to there that morning and purchased the car as soon as we got there. Paid the sticker price for it, there wasn't much room for negotiating the price because it is so new and it is a hot car right now.

Although, mine is the base model and doesn't have all the perks in it, I still love the car! I am very satisfied with it! =) The only thing i would change if I could afford it would be the rims, but I am a broke pharmacy student and that won't be happening anytime soon...lol...and the car was a present from my parents after all...so i'm happy with whatever! It's a beautiful car! My second choice would have been black or white.

Good luck finding a dealership! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine!

Switched dealers and made a deal on a blue 3.5. 8-12 week wait time..sheesh. I had to prove to the new dealer that the sunroof came standard as well. In the end everything worked out well.

Congratulations! I ordered my Silver 2.5S CVT Coupe last week. Should have it in 6-7 weeks.

Lots of Coupe owners out there....still haven't seen one in my hometown of Cheyenne. I was in Denver this weekend, didn't see one there either (although I'm sure there are plenty in a city that size)
