I have an Euro Maxima that looks like the I30 from 2000-2003 and I need to know a few things.

What is the maximum size of tyres and rims for the I30/Maxima? Is it possible to squeez in a 245-35-19?

I need a close up pic of the rear "Infiniti" emblem on an 2000/2001 I30. Because I am thinking about geting that emblem.

I also wounder if there was a change in the design of the Steering wheel between 2000 and 2001?

Someone got a pic of a beige Steering wheel from an 2000- I30?

Dose anyone have a pic of the intake for the I30?

Any pic of the header for the I30?

My plans are to fit all infiniti emblems and cover up all Nissan emblems. My plan involves:

Change to the I35 grille.Get the Infiniti floor mats.Get the I30t rear emblem.Get the rear emblem.Get the Infiniti rear emblem (the text one). The center rim emblems. And last the center pice of the steering wheel (Air bag module)

This will make it a fake I30 but it will make me feel GOOOOD. The only missing thing is the extra 30HP.

Thanks alot!

Alexandar

1. I think you could run 19s with a 245-35-19... You would obviously have to make sure the offset is right, but assuming you ran an 8in wide wheel with probably around 40mm offset you should be fine....

2. Here you go

3. Yes there is. Here is a picture of a 2001 I30

Heres a 2000

4. see above

5.

6. I dont have a pic of the exhaust manifold, but the I30 from 96-99 and 00+ are the same with the VQ30 Engine....

I would not suggest 35-series tires. The 40-series on my Maxima is pretty damn rough and you will have a greater chance of bending rims.

Factory offset is 45mm. 40mm in the front is nice and 25-30mm in the rear works good too. I would go with 40mm rims and get 10-15mm wheel spacers for the back.

Just to add on to the exhaust manifold...The US version is a large cast-iron beast that will be of little use to you, unless you have emissions standards that your vehicle has to meet.

I think it depends on the tire.. However i agree, a 245-40-19 might be a better choice.... the extra sidewall should always be welcomed!!!!

Absolutely. Even with 40 series on my 18's and heavy-duty rims, I've bent 2-3 of the damn things...

Yeehaa!

Thanks! The pics are great, but I need a close up on the rear emblem. Because I got some kide of rubber list between the trunk lid and the chrome trim. Can someone maybe measure the size of the emblem, I need to see if I need to get the .. (the part where the License plate suposed be).

So the exaust mainflod is bigger the the euro spec? If it is the same like the old maxima/I30/J30 so that part dont give the car 30hp extra?

The steering wheel on the 2000 is the same as mine. What is the name of the part shown in the pic?

Thanks

Alexandar

No one can help me with the emblem sizes? Some one must have an 2000 I30 around here.

Like I asked the name of the part on the steering wheel, I didnt mean the airbag just the cover. Can you buy this part without the airbag.

ThanksAlexandar
