I bought a 89 h/b w/ DE swap about a month ago and will be picking it up Friday. I have been going back and forth about what I plan to do with it. I've kinda decided on CA18DET but, there's a lot of stuff I don't know about swapping into the USDM 240sx.Here's what I've found out:-Sr hotpipe can be made to work with some couplers-Sr coldpipe interchanges with Ca-Sr s13 swap wiring harness same for Ca s13-Sr 02 extension elbow interchanges-Sr downpipe interchanges (aftermarket or oe) Stuff I want to know is:Do the aftermarket SR intake kits fit on CA?Do the stock KA mounts work?Could someone repost about how to use KA clutch on CA18DET? Do you use KA flywheel too?Do you have to special order exhaust manifold gaskets?

I want to do this for the obvious reasons <boostednissan > But I just have a lot of questions since aftermarket support isn't as strong as Sr or even KA now.

search my brother.. i hate saying that i feel like a jerk. but heres what i know, the ka mounts will work. the motor is kinda up more then ca mounts, but it gets the job done. exhaust mani gaskets come off the 88 pulsar 1.8 just tell autozone you got a 88 pulsar nx se 1.8 and you got the right stuff. the ka clutch will work if you pull one of the pins, ive never done this but i read up alot and know that it will work with some modification. not sure, i dont think the flywheel will work however. but somebody correct me if im wrong.. im just throwing out what i know. good luck with yur swap! oh and sr intake works. just have to use the ca maf or a sohc maf.

flywheel won't work, clutch from a ka24de only will work, providing you pull an alignment pin out of the flywheel with a pair of pliers

as far as the use of those parts you mentioned, i've got no clue
