I know that talking about it and actually seeing it are two different things so hopefully someone can shed some light on this problem of mine. I got my car out from it's winter hibernation and I seem to be having a few problems. The engine sounds as if it's misfiring a bit and it's running on 3 cylinders. It doesnt seem to be the coil pack or the ignition module. I swapped over the throttle body to a KA and I belive people have been saying they've been having problems. Also, another problem Im having is the exhaust has quite a bit of white smoke coming from it. I havent really tweaked anything on the engine yet so I dont think im running rich. I replaced the headgasket last year and took the car for a few rides, then parked it for the season. Any insight into these problems? I'll upload a video in a little while to show you what I see.

Ok, here's a video of the exhaust:http://members.shaw.ca/TurboPulsar/pulsar2.wmvRight Click Save-As

There is no cat, 2.5" mandrel bent, no boost controller, 87 octane (also it's old). Would there be any other reason for the white smoke?

you probably need to run it on better gas. i would definitely try *at least* filling the tank the rest of the way with 91 or 93. some fuel stabilizer and octane booster/toluene wouldnt be a bad idea either.

yeah, the car only has about an eigth to a quarter tank of gas left in there. When the car is out on the road I'll fill her up with some good gas. I just figured there might be something else behind the smoke

if you're seein white smoke, thats fuel... if putting decent gas in there doesnt help it, check your plugs (as well as the wires/packs like you've done) - you probably have a cylinder that's not firing fully or at all, and its still gettin fuel.
