hey, i just got my 89 240sx fb, and i came across a few issues.

1. How do you get the radio antenna down? I have the original 89 am/fm/cass stereo, and it doesn't say how to in the manual. it's not like a retracted extension antenna, it's all one piece. i need it to go down to get this car washed.

2. i was driving the car with 4 ppl in it, and i noticed that my back left tire was sinking like it was going flat, but it was fine when everyone came out. the load was probably around 450-600 pounds at the time. what should i do about this? could my tire just need more air? anyone know the right pressure the tires should have?

3. i didn't notice this, but my friend, when she drove my car, told me that the brakes feel a little spongy. should i have this checked out?

just unscrew it .

Just add air pressure untill u notice that the car is sitting correctly.

Just add new pads.

LOL...

ya, to ease your nerves, I'll confirm:

1) it's a fixed anntennae & the car wash attendant should unscrew it from the base

2) there shoulda been a tire placard in the glovebox saying 29 psi of pressure, but u can go as far as the tire's max pressure of 35 if you're hauling heavy cargo... i set mines to about 32 psi on my 205 60R 15

3) spongy? air in system/ brake fluid leak, mebbe??? a quick visual on the master cyl level & further inspection @ the brakes would help if u need new pads as well...
