I bought a 95 Pathfinder from my uncle's wife's mom. It has about 82,000 miles on it. She is the only owner and admittedly did very little work on the car other than oil changes. So far I have replaced the starter, plugs, wires, rotor, fuel filter, distributor cap, , a few injection hoses, water pump and timing belt. Now I'm seeing smoke(a little) coming from right below the engine. The other thing is that I need a transmission flush and fill, but what else can I do to get the car to move faster. It seems like an injector might not be fucntioning properly. I paid $1700 for the car, and would like to get it running really well. Any ideas about the problems that i mentioned and advice about how I proceed. I've spent about $1200 on the car in the last 4 months, and hope that another 5-6 hundred will get it to the point where I will only have to do the routine stuff. What do you think?
