Engine bay looks pretty good. The car itself isn't my cup of tea but to each their own.

That's a T88 on their right?

Do you get pulled over by the cops every 5 minutes with all those "call-outs" painted on the back of the car? Seems like you're begging for po-po attention.

I'd paint the roof black to match all the other black on the car.

the high quality camera really brings out the age/dirtiness of your paint unfortunately. not digging all the aluminum foil wrap, the "call outs", post office mail slot intake, or the fog light headlights. but yea, just my opinion

First, learn to use the *IMG* tags, or let the editor auto link them

Second. your car needs some serious help with the paint. If your serious about the red & black two-tone, spray the top and pillars black, but this time, don't spray-bomb it like the lower belt-line.

Actually, consider taking some classes on paint / body work and re-do the whole car. It would look pretty slick with fresh paint. Unless the point is to look like like a beat-up sleeper.. Then I'm not entirely sure you succeeded at that. It appears you have spent a lot of time working on your car and adding parts to it, why not make it look as fast as it is? (other than the chrome exhaust sticking out, there is no way to tell my car is anything other than stock - but that's how I like it ;-)

Loose the call-outs and mail-box intake. Dud you use actual heat tape, or alumnium foil on everything? Did you re-spot-weld your pass strut tower? Finish wrapping your lines going to your catch-tank. Did you use an S13 (Koyo?) rad? I really dig the 2-into-1 maf housing.

Hope you accept the criticism as it was intended to be - constructive!

yea im down for opinions, i dont really care for looking fast, just going fast,

i dont care about paint, i did the 2 tone one night when i had nothign else to do, im currently building a sealed undercarage for the front of the car, all of the wrap on the wiring and hoses is made by dei, it is all heat resistant tape. thanks for the input so far guys!

the car has a t78-33d turbo.

the "scoop" is on the car because the turbo whacked the bottom of the hood everytime it came on to boost. the hood would start to lift so i said f it and installed it, it was the oil cooler scoop on my dads old late model and he gave it to me to use on something, mabey it was the beer or the thought of my t78 wacking the bottom of the hood thats why installed the little scoop

thanks again for the input

What engine mounts are you running? The engine should not be torquing and moving so much that it hits the hood.

I'm not sure of the reasoning for the heat wrap on the radiator hose. The heat is already in the hose and the temp of the coolant isn't going to hurt/melt anything. There's really no need for heat wrap on the intake side of the motor.

The paint obviously needs help, but the cosmetic stuff can be dealt with later

The call outs are definately provocative, and pretty much a cocky move if you were to see this car on the street.

Until whoever see's this and tries to race you, then it all makes sense. Thats why I like the call outs painted on the back so much...

Good work man

the heat wrap on the upper rad hose is there for a reason, thats the hot water commin out of the motor, and the " side of the i/c piping is under 2" away from it, im trying to prevent as much heat soak as possible, it works, i dropped charge temps from 135 to under 100 doing 130+ pulls at 21psi on 93 oct, the heat tape crap actually woarks, i didnt believe it myself, but since i got it for free and had both aftermarket ait sensors already hooked up, the only thing i had to loose was time, it turned out to be time well spent!

i started out with top hat mounts, then copied them and got a refund because the top hats kept bending on me, my mounts are the hockey puck mounts on a s13 crossmember, id like to find a gts crossmember so i can eliminate these mounts and stick my aluminum mounts that i made in there so the motor wount move, just the transmission

Piece of advice. . . If its solid up front then keep it solid in the rear. Ive heard of a buncha people who used solid motor mounts and the stock transmission mount, and a couple a weeks later after beasting on it something would finally break. But ya keep up the dedicated work
