Had all the windows and windshield tinted 20%

3000k HID fog lights

Red LED parking lights which I'm still unsure about. May replace them for some white ones, but going to give it a few days and see if it grows on me.

Starting to look like my old car lol

You went 20% on the windshield? I only did 50%.

Ya, 20%. I don't do a whole lot of driving, day or night. I put roughly 5,500mi/yr on a car. I'll admit it's pretty dark, but I personally like it due to the reduced headlight glare. It's worth it from that aspect for me alone. I get its not for everyone.

The view from inside at night with the 20%.

Nice, I need to get tint done on my car, just the windows and rear windshield.

Don't have to tell me lol. I always have to explain to people why I tinted the front windshield. I think it looks sick, helps with the glare AND keeps the dashboard from getting cooked by the sun.

Yup, I agree. Plus I don't like driving around in a giant fish bowl. I like as much privacy as possible.

Tint is always one of the first "mods" I do to a car. I just waited a bit on this one since the windows were already tinted when I bought it, just not dark enough for my liking.

It was the VERY first thing I did to my Lexus after I bought it. I think it made 3 days before I tinted the Windows.

Swapped white LED's and ditched the red ones. Much better.

Thanks! I didn't mind the red but I definitely like the white better and I'm probably much less likely to get pulled over. I had to steal them from my Lexus so I have 2 sets on order now so I can also do the license plate lights.

Your car looks great BC81. A classy stunner. Glad you went back to the white lights in the city bulbs.
One of my favorite simple mods is the chrome colored turn signal bulbs, which I think would really complement your M.
Having those housings all clear gives it a really clean look IMHO

What wonderful things can little details do. Personally I have finally taken care of refinishing wheels myself (paint was peeling after dealer "refinished them") and cleaned up the fogginess of headlight (that bothered me sooo much  ). Now it's like brand new! Fog lights and led light edits (plus bumper refresh) will make it even more lovely than it is now.

Looks great! I have to wet sand my headlights at some point, it looks like somebody has taken something super abrasive and really did a number on them. The reason I went with the Q50 wheels was because my originals were peeling and had bad curb damage, and they were brand new and cheaper than it would've cost me to have them refinished.
Luckily we've had some good rain here in Chicago and the salt is off the roads, so I can take the Lexus out now and spend some time getting the M cleaned up.

Here in NYC the cops have gotten aggressive with writing tickets for tint that is too dark. NY only allows the top 6" if the windshield to be tinted.

Oh it's super illegal, I got pulled over recently and was given a warning. I don't get hassled about it in my Lexus because it has veterans plates. I'm moving to Arizona in July and I'm hoping they're a bit more lenient with it.

Today I replaced my lower ball joints. Kinda sucks you have to do the whole lower arm since the ball joints are not serviceable separately. Makes it much more expensive.

Very nice, BC! I am glad that you went with the white bulbs. Are they functioning as DRLs? Or just as high beam with the white? The tint looks SWEET too.. I have all windows and rear windscreen tinted very heavily, and since I am in FL, I don't think that the police care. Very sunny/hot for most of the year.. even most of the police cars have illegal tint I think :chuckle:

Those bulbs are the parking lights. The car now doesn't have any halogen bulbs anymore, I've converted everything to LED. Well, except the front turn signals.
