Alright, I don't know what you all think of these guys but sometimes the little shops make the best stuff…. Most of the time it's sad to say that's not the case. But anyways, I'm hoping for the best from these guys seeing how they've taken the time to put together a turbo kit for the Altima coupe v6. The pictures look nice and clean, never know how well fitment will be until the install happens. I've got some info from Jesse from turbo-kits.com on the thing:

(His respose to my email)Hey Robert, Here is what I was able to find out... The kit is currently still in the R & D phase. All of the hard parts are good, they are just working on a few management options and finalizing the pricing, etc... -What trim turbo, A/R, wheels, bearings (custom spec is all that's on their site)? Turbonetics 66mm Ptrim BB .68a/r-What kind of fuel management? TBD-Right now they are using greddy, trying to get a reflash done for production kits -What BOV and Wastegate? Tial BOV on the intercooler. Turbonetics Wastegate -Any mods that need to be done to fit the kit…. (noticed a custom hood on their car)? No mods -Cost? TBD-They'll probably know as soon as they nail down the fuel management-pictures of the finished kit? I attached 4 pics of the test kit on the car. The piping and fitment is solid so the production kits should be the same except for the fuel management.

So What do you think?

being the guy who gets to take this car outta the garage and drive it whenever i feel the need lemme tell you that it really is a nice upgrade. it picks up very smooth during normal driving AND gets better gas mileage than stock. when i put my foot into it the throttle response is much greater and you can run through the gears so fast it's hard to keep up with the shifting. I've been trying to take it easy when driving it since having the turbo, but the urge to go fast when you start to hear the turbo hiss at you is more than i can fight off (most of the time). anyway, 500 miles on it and the car runs perfect, no issues with anything. we need to finally get around to that dallas altima coupe meet so you locals can finally hear and see what this thing is all about!

Going to need internals.... Hoping all VQ after market parts can be used to build on the different blocks. Engine building isn't one of my specialties.

whats the boost? What is the air fuel ratio running? Had it on the dyno, get any WHP numbers?

Not necessarily...with good fuel management boosting 5 to 8 psi should be no problem with stock internals. That would be enough for some of us, like myself. Of course, some are gonna wanna mad boost, for those, internal mods needed. Good rule is to boost higher only when its cool outside (40s, 50s, 60s)...higher temps, say the 80s and above, Id boost easier. Detonation (death of all turbo engines) occurs at greater frequency with higher temps

When boosting the fuel management is the key. whether it's 5psi or 15, if you're running to lean you're going to wear the engine out very fast. What I'm very interested in is what kind of software they end up using. The problem I had on my last car was with the piggy back and part throttle boosting, which is what most turbo kits come with. The computer only works when the throttle is wide open which creates a problem when you really don't need to mash the peddle but need some decent acceleration for everyday driving. And you can't necessarily just plug into another computer because you may not have a wire harness for your car. I think a AEM has a new computer that is specifically for N/A cars that have gone F/I. With the right fuel management a stock engine should last for a very long time on lower boost levels
