Just bought this car on the 20th, it's off getting another engine put in it right now...$1500 for the car, engine in it needed rings & injectors, so I'm just having the spare engine and transmission i got for free with the car put in for $300....

Here's some pics, so enjoy

Oh yes, that IS an engine in the hatch area....talk about a pain in the *** to get there

It was the only way though

just blew $300 apparently....that free motor....yeah the head gasket's blown....just found out once it was put in, b/c when we put antifreeze in it started dripping out right around the head :(

so there's $300 done for....

I need a motor (don't care what year or anything) that runs good, doesn't need anything really. I have 2 '90 motors, and one '92 motor that I can pull stuff off of if little things are needed, but bottom line is i need something cheap in the NW Ohio, SE Michigan area....

Christ this is frustrating, and the guy i bought the car off of is only offering me $150 back to cover half of the motor install.

Help....Please

Is it me or is that a 91-94 240sx with a 89-90 motor in it?

uhh, actually that does look like a sohc engine. Look at how wide the valve cover is, its' not that wide at all for two cams... oddly strange. Maybe the blown engine was the dohc engine that broke on the previous owner, so he just put a sohc. Just a theory, but that engine looks sohc.

thanks....only one rust spot on the whole car, just a small spot above the driver's door that a buddy of mine said we can clean up in under 2 hours, and have it all primed for paint...it's just a little surface rust

Ok, so I lied, the A pillar on the passenger side has a small spot too....it looks like it JUST started....just barely bubbled
